Most estimates performed prior to disassembly of the vehicle are not fully accurate due to the high likelihood of hidden damage. Therefore, it is the standard policy of BROTHERS Collision Center that a precise estimate of repair costs and completion time is not provided until we have disassembled the damaged area of your vehicle.
Our repair process is as follows:
- Obtain your written or verbal authorization to begin repairs and to negotiate with your insurance company on your behalf, if applicable.
- Document all visible external damage.
- Disassemble the damaged area(s) to uncover any hidden damage.
- Document all previously hidden damage and evaluate the likelihood of further necessary repairs.
- Contact you or your insurance company for inspection and approval of any additional costs associated with the newly discovered damage.
- Provide you with an updated and more accurate estimated completion date as repairs progress.
BROTHERS COLLISION CENTER follows our own quality-focused repair procedures, which are backed by a written guarantee. In some cases, these procedures may differ from the steps outlined in your insurance company's estimate. Any differences that impact the total repair cost will be discussed with you or your insurer before proceeding.
IF YOUR VEHICLE IS NOT REPAIRED AT OUR FACILITY:
If you choose not to have Brothers Collision Center perform the repairs after disassembly and/or parts ordering has occurred, the following charges may apply:
- Labor charges for disassembly and damage diagnosis
- Restocking fees for any pre-ordered parts and/or materials
- Storage fees of $200.00 per day for each day the vehicle was on our premises
- Any other reasonable costs incurred in relation to your vehicle
PAYMENT TERMS & INSURANCE CHECKS
All repair charges must be paid in full when the vehicle is ready for pickup. In some cases, you may need to follow up with your insurance company to ensure timely payment. You authorize Brothers Collision Center to sign or endorse your name on any insurance checks issued for the purpose of paying for the repairs to your vehicle.
We accept the following forms of payment:
- Major credit cards, Cash, Bank checks, Money orders, Insurance checks
REPAIR CONDITIONS & LIABILITY
While we work diligently to avoid delays, please note that delays due to parts availability or insurance processing are sometimes beyond our control. We will make every effort to keep you informed according to your preferred level of communication.
Employees of Brothers Collision Center or authorized subcontractors may operate your vehicle for purposes of testing, moving, or delivery. Please be aware that battery disconnection during the repair process may reset radio presets and other memory settings.
We are not responsible for any personal property left inside the vehicle during repairs. Please remove all valuables before leaving your vehicle with us.
By signing below, you authorize Brothers Collision Center to perform the necessary repairs on your vehicle and acknowledge that you understand and accept the terms outlined in this document. You also acknowledge and grant an express mechanic's lien on your vehicle to secure payment for all authorized repairs and related costs.
